Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel Review with StyleKorean by qborero

I have been into aloe vera lately because it soothe and moisturize my skin very well. I can use it from head to toe. I tried a lot of brands but my favorite and everyone's favorite is the one from Nature Republic. It feels original, and very organic. It is actually being raved by everyone everywhere.

Aloe Vera is widely known as sunburn and wound remedy, as well as, some kind of a tonic that contributes to hair growth. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is believed to be a natural antioxidant and said to have anti-bacterial properties; hence, it is used as a skin treatment to a variety of skin conditions. The gel of the aloe vera leaves has high water content, and many claims that it is naturally soothing, moisturizing, and healing.

At first day of use, I noticed I had bumps on my face and some tiny breakouts. I discontinue using it for five days to see if it is the reason why I had those bumps, but it turned out not. I used it again for a while and I love using it cold at night. It definitely brings back the moisture on my face after my night facial wash. At the morning, I can obviously see that my face is glowing. I also use it at night for my hair, and it makes it a lot shinier. This also removes my dry patches. I highly recommend this product and it is very worth it.

There are various forms of aloe vera products that varies from gel, mist and a lot more. I already tried both type and I must say that the effectiveness will still depend on how your skin will react. Aloe vera is good for acne treatment, hair loss problems, aging, antioxidant, as well as sunburn.

MIST TYPE

I must say that the mist type worked well for me instead of the gel one. This is much more easier for my skin to be absorbed and is not sticky at all. I can also use this as a moisturizer and setting spray in one.

GEL TYPE

To be honest I don't like gel type aloe gel because it feels sticky and tacky on my skin. I also oil-up when I am using this. But this Apieu Aloe Soothing Gel is a bit more watery than the Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel. The reason also that I got this instead of the Nature Republic's. I tried both but both did not worked for me. But remember that we all have different skin types and conditions, it doesn't mean that it worked for me will work on your or not worked for me and will not work for you. I think it is still okay to try this product.

My thoughts: Personally, I really don't put a lot of creams on my face overnight because it tends to oil up a lot and then it would cause breakouts. I tried this overnight with the knowledge that my skin might be in trouble, but it did not. It is not sticky at all and won't cause me acne. I don't use it everyday, I use this thrice a week only. And I do not use this under my makeup.

Overall thoughts
If I would rate this line of products, I will rate it 9/10. I have oily combination type of skin and this works for me. I also have an acne-prone skin but it did not cause acne on my skin. I love that the primer and fixer cream does not leave a tacky feeling on my face. As for the contour cleanser, I still do not see the slimming effect that's why I cannot rate it 10/10, but I will definitely update this review when I see an effect. I think this is perfect for those who want a slimmer face without having to take a surgery. This line will make your complicate skincare simpler. You won't have to spend a lot more money on five to ten products just to achieve the 10 step korean skincare. I also want to comment about the minimalist packaging the line has. It is very simple yet elegant. This line is perfect for everyone.
